About us
We are Garmon Yarns, an online store for yarns, wool and accessories for knitting and crochet. We started out to make buying straightforward: complete product pages, clear photos and up-to-date stock. Here you’ll find balls for amigurumi and garments, needles, hooks, markers, project bags, and a curated selection of patterns and books. Everything is designed so you can choose without wasting time or travelling. We sell online only; your order leaves straight for your home within hours of being placed, so you get it as quickly as possible.
We’re not into personal publicity. We prefer to stay out of the spotlight and let your projects take centre stage. You won’t find a posed photo here—just a commitment: to recommend materials by use, explain pros and cons honestly and avoid empty marketing. If a product isn’t for everyone, we’ll say so. If there are common questions, we answer them in the product pages and in the FAQs.
A carefully curated selection
We select brands and qualities using practical criteria: clear fibre composition, useful meterage, realistic needle sizes and solid technical support. We verify data with official sources and avoid vague promises. We work with some of Europe’s leading names, such as Drops, Scheepjes and Rico Design, and also with labels less known in Spain like Kremke Soul Wool, Erika Knight and Performance. Our aim, in time, is to offer our own collection of yarns and wool.
Yarns from Turkey you won’t find elsewhere in Spain
To stand out, we bring in brands rarely found in Spain, especially Turkish mills. We’ve become direct importers for several of the most relevant houses in Turkey—a country with a long textile and spinning tradition—such as Fibra Natura, Gazzal and YarnArt, among others. It’s no coincidence: many major European brands spin part of their ranges there for the know-how and quality control. This lets us expand local choice with colours, blends and qualities that usually don’t reach the Spanish market.
Our own accessories brand
We’re also developing our own brand of essential knitting and crochet accessories: simple, reliable tools at a fair price for beginners. We’re not aiming for “premium” just yet—maybe one day; for now we want tools that work, last, and solve the job without complications.
Books, books—everything is in the books
We have also become a specialist bookshop for needlecrafts and DIY. We cover the most used techniques—knitting, crochet, amigurumi, punch needle, embroidery and macramé—with editions in Spanish and English (and other languages where relevant). Our goal is that you can find any craft book you’re looking for; if it’s not in the catalogue, we’ll try to source it to order. To do this, we work with leading publishers and keep a living backlist with new releases and staple titles.
Online-only, though you’re welcome to meet us
We operate exclusively online. We help via chat and email, and keep guides, size charts, yarn weight conversions and substitution advice updated so you can buy with confidence. If you need to calculate balls, gauge or needle sizes, we give you the information to do it. And if something doesn’t add up, we’d rather you didn’t buy than sell for the sake of it. We want well-matched orders, not avoidable returns. If you’d like to meet us and collect your order from our workspace, our door is open to you.
Our policies are written clearly: pricing, shipping, returns and guarantees are visible, with no small print. We show availability and timelines transparently and let you know if anything changes. We treat your data with care and comply with European regulations. When something needs improving, we just do it: we change what’s necessary and tell you why. We build trust with actions, not grand statements.
If you share this way of understanding the craft, this is your home. Explore the collections, save your favourites and use our guides to learn or level up. Subscribe if you want genuinely useful updates—not spam—and write to us whenever you need real help.
Knitting takes practice, patience and good materials. You bring the first; for the second and third, count on Garmonyarns.
