Q: Why is it difficult to find Turkish yarns in Spain?

Because many Turkish brands have limited distribution in Western Europe, and few Spanish shops import them. At Garmon Yarns, we are an importer of Turkish yarns with direct contact with the manufacturers, so we bring together many ranges that you will not currently find in other shops in Spain. There are no exclusivity agreements involved: any shop could import them; for now, we do.

Q: Is Turkish wool good quality despite its price?

Yes. Turkey’s textile industry combines tradition and technology, with quality fibres and carefully managed production. Its more affordable price does not mean lower quality, but rather lower production costs. That is why Turkish yarns offer value for money that is hard to match, with a soft feel and beautifully finished results.

Q: Are Turkish wool and yarn easy to care for?

Yes. Cotton yarns and acrylics can usually be machine washed on a delicate cycle and dried flat. More delicate fibres, such as blends with fluffy fibres, are best preserved by hand washing in cold water. The label on each ball always gives the specific care recommendations.
