Rewards Programme Policy

1) Purpose and acceptance

The Rewards Programme (the “Programme”) is intended for consumer customers (B2C) with a registered account. It allows you to collect “Stitches” points on each purchase and convert them into discount codes. It also includes a Referral Programme with a 10% reward for the person who recommends us and a 10% discount for the referred customer’s first order. By creating and verifying your account, you are automatically enrolled in the Programme and accept these terms. Taking part in the Programme does not mean you agree to receive promotional messages: to receive marketing communications we require your explicit consent (opt-in).

2) Eligibility

  • Consumers: natural persons purchasing for private (non-professional) use.
  • Age: the age permitted under the law of your country to enter into online contracts; if you do not meet it, your legal representative must act on your behalf.
  • Account: you must register and verify your account. Duplicate accounts for the same person are not permitted.
  • EU scope: valid for orders from countries of the European Union to which we deliver.

3) “Stitches” points: how to earn them

3.1 General rule

  • You will earn 10 Stitches for every €1 spent on products. Stitches are calculated on the net amount of the items once other discounts have been applied; taxes and shipping charges do not count.
  • Whole-euro rounding. Only whole euros in the net subtotal earn Stitches. Examples: €1.95 ⇒ 10 Stitches; €2.10 ⇒ 20 Stitches.
  • Special campaigns. From time to time we may multiply the earning rate (for example, double Stitches). We will always announce the dates and conditions for each campaign.
  • Excluded orders. No Stitches are awarded on gift cards, pre-orders, made-to-order or personalised products (including cut-to-size items), orders paid entirely using discount codes, or B2B transactions.
  • No retroactive credit. Stitches are not applied to purchases made before joining the Programme.

Example: order for €100 in products – €20 discount + €10 shipping + 21% VAT → Stitches base = €80 → 800 Stitches.

3.2 Other actions that earn Stitches

(Availability depends on activation at each time. The details of Stitches, requirements and limits per action are shown in the Programme widget and in your Profile when the action is available.)

  • Registering on the website. Granted once only when you create and verify your customer account.
  • Birthday. Granted once a year, provided you have added your date of birth at least 30 days in advance.
  • Google review. Granted once per account and may require verification to prevent misuse. If we detect that the review is later removed, the Stitches awarded will be cancelled.
  • Following us on social networks. Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook: once per network and per verified account. Stitches will be cancelled if you unfollow us.
  • Customer anniversary. Granted once a year, taking your account creation date as a reference. To award these Stitches, the account must be active and earn Stitches each year; otherwise, the account will be considered abandoned.
  • Daily visits to the shop. When you sign in and browse the shop, you may earn Stitches per daily visit. We apply anti-fraud controls and technical limits to prevent automations or unusual patterns.
  • Sharing a link to the shop. On Facebook or X, with an operational limit to prevent abuse. Only public shares or those verifiable by the platform will count. If we detect that the posts are later deleted, the Stitches awarded will be cancelled.
  • Subscribing to YouTube. Granted once only when you subscribe to our channel with your account. Stitches will be cancelled if you cancel your subscription.

3.3 Expiry and adjustments

  • Stitches expire after 12 months if you do not convert them into a discount. You can check your balance and validity period in your account.
  • Returns and cancellations. If you cancel an order or return any item, we will recalculate the Stitches based on the final amount kept and deduct those that no longer apply. If the return is for the whole order, all Stitches generated by that purchase will be removed.
  • Prevention of abuse. Where there are signs of irregular use (for example, multiple accounts, automations or manipulation of the return + redemption flow), we may temporarily block the account while we review it, cancel Stitches, cancel codes and, where appropriate, exclude the account from the Programme.

4) Redeeming Stitches → discount codes

  • Redemption is carried out from your Customer Profile or from the Programme panel that appears at the bottom of the website. For now, it is not possible to redeem Stitches directly during the payment process. Once Stitches have been converted into discount codes, you can use them during the purchase process.
  • Available redemption amounts. You can choose any of the following once you have the required Stitches (amounts increase in steps of 1,000 from 2,000):
    • 2,000 Stitches → €10 (minimum order €40)
    • 3,000 Stitches → €15 (minimum order €50)
    • 4,000 Stitches → €20 (minimum order €50)
    • 5,000 Stitches → €25 (minimum order €60)
    • 6,000 Stitches → €30 (minimum order €70)
    • 8,000 Stitches → €40 (minimum order €80)
  • Validity of coupons obtained with Stitches. Each coupon is valid for 30 days from issue. Once expired, it cannot be reactivated or replaced.
  • Combining coupons. Coupons can be combined with other discounts in the shop up to the system limit. If an order includes a “buy X and get Y” promotion (unit-based offers), no additional discount may be applied to those same items.
  • Exclusions. Coupons do not apply to fixed-price books, pre-orders, gift cards or to made-to-order, personalised or cut-to-size products.
  • Returns. If you return an order in which you used a coupon obtained with Stitches, the discount element is not refundable; we will only refund the amount you paid in money.

5) Referral Programme (10% + 10%)

  • Each customer has a unique referral link in their account. You decide how to share it—by email, messaging or social networks. We do not send messages on your behalf or process your contacts’ data.
  • Who is considered a “new customer”?. A new customer is someone who has never created an account or placed orders with Garmon Yarns and does not match existing data (full name, address, telephone number or other data showing duplicate accounts).
  • Controls to prevent abuse.
    Automatic controls: If we detect that the person who recommends us and the invited person create the account or place the order from the same device, the same browser or the same internet connection (IP address), the referral will not be validated.
    Manual controls: in addition, we periodically carry out manual checks to detect accounts with similar data and verify them with external tools to look for patterns.
  • Discount for the referred customer. The referred customer receives a 10% discount on their first order, provided the amount is €40 or more. This discount can be combined with other coupons under the general rules and is available for 30 days from creation.
  • Reward for the referrer. The referrer receives a 10% coupon when the referred customer pays for their first order. That coupon expires after 3 months and is used under the same combination rules and exclusions.
  • Number of invitations. You can invite as many people as you wish. There is no limit on invitations, provided all meet the requirements for a new customer and these conditions are respected.
  • If there are returns. If the referred customer’s first order is returned, the referrer’s reward is cancelled; if it has not yet been used, it will be invalidated.
  • Responsible use. Self-referrals or referring people from the same household are prohibited. We may reject referrals that breach these rules or show signs of misuse.

6) Marketing communications and privacy

  • Marketing communications. We will only send promotional information to those who have given their explicit and verifiable consent. Sending unsolicited promotional emails or text messages is not permitted. The only exception is where there is an existing customer relationship and the message concerns our own similar products or services, always including a simple way to unsubscribe at any time. We do not send referral invitations to third parties: each customer shares their own link if they wish.
  • How a referral is linked. The link between the referrer and the invited person is created when the latter registers through the link and completes the sign-up in the same session. We do not use persistent affiliation cookies or similar mechanisms.
  • Legal basis for processing. We process the data necessary to provide the Programme on the basis of performance of the contract and, for anti-fraud checks, on our legitimate interest. Marketing communications are only sent if you have given consent. You can exercise your data protection rights (access, rectification, objection, erasure, restriction and portability).
  • Programme provider. We use the Zing Loyalty application, integrated with the Shopify platform. Zing Loyalty acts as our data processor and only accesses the data essential for operating the Programme. We have signed the data processing agreement in accordance with the UK/EU GDPR.
  • Data retention. We will keep the information while your account remains active. If you cancel your account, the Stitches and coupons associated with it are lost and we will cease processing your data for this purpose, without prejudice to any statutory retention periods.

7) Technical limitations on discounts

Before applying discounts in the same order, please note these simple rules:

  • You can enter several codes in one purchase, up to the maximum allowed by the system.
  • Codes only add up if they are marked as combinable; if any code is not combinable, it will not be compatible with the rest.
  • “Buy X and get Y” promotions (unit-based offers) do not also allow other discounts on those same items.
  • Discounts are calculated on the value of the items, once product-level discounts have been applied and excluding taxes and shipping charges.
  • Do not apply discounts during the purchase process if you do not intend to use them, as you may lose them. Once discounts are added, if they are removed, Shopify deletes them and you may lose the rewards you have earned; we have no technical way to restore them.

If the system changes these limits in the future, we will update this section accordingly.

8) Changes, suspension and end of the Programme

We may amend these Programme terms—including the rules on how coupons can be combined—or suspend it and, if applicable, bring it to an end. In any of these cases, we will give 30 days’ prior notice by means of a visible notice on the website and, where possible, also by email to registered persons.

If the Programme comes to an end, we will automatically convert your Stitches balance into coupons with the validity period in force at that time, or we will set a specific period to redeem them before they expire. We will clearly indicate the dates and how to use them. All this is provided that you have reached the minimum required to redeem of 2,000 Stitches.

Where a change is necessary to prevent fraud or to comply with a legal obligation, we may apply it immediately, informing you as soon as possible.

9) Customer service and complaints

  • Contact: contact form and tienda@garmonyarns.com
  • Procedure: For any query or issue related to the Programme (Stitches, coupons or referrals), write to us stating your full name, the email address associated with the account, the order number (if any) and a clear description of what has happened. Our team will review the case and reply within an indicative period of 1–2 working days.
    • Checks and recalculation. If the issue is due to a return or cancellation, we will recalculate the Stitches and coupons on the final amount kept. Where appropriate, we will deduct or add Stitches and cancel or reissue the coupons affected.
    • Confirmation. We will send you a message with the outcome of the review, details of the adjustment and, where applicable, the updated codes and their validity.
    • Identity verification. In exceptional cases we may request additional information (for example, screenshots of the order or a document proving account ownership) to protect your security and prevent misuse.
