This DROPS Pro Spark set lets you create circular needles of 60, 80 (x2) and 100 cm in total assembled length, so you can adjust the length to the actual circumference of your fabric. For cowls and hats, 60 cm usually works well; for jumper bodies or shawls, 80 to 100 cm.

The needle size is not only the one stated in the pattern: your tension and stitch pattern also matter. With the 3.5 to 8.0 mm range, you can adjust thoughtfully when you want more drape, more firmness or a different stitch definition.
