Row Counter Chain – Opry: visual precision for your rounds

The Opry Row Counter Chain is made up of 10 metal rings, each representing one round of your knitting project. Thanks to the decorative bead on the first ring, it’s easy to identify the start of the cycle: simply slide your circular needles into the next ring each time you complete a round, and you can follow your progress in real time. This function avoids confusion and eliminates the need to memorise or write down each round.

The metal design is sturdy and subtly shiny, adding an elegant touch to your toolkit. Its ease of use ensures a smooth transition between rounds, especially useful in projects with multiple repeats, such as circular patterns or complex stripes. You’ll no longer need to interrupt your creative flow to count rounds in your head: just keep moving visually, with precision and style every step of the way.

Row Counter Chain – Opry: personalisable style that makes a difference

Available in refined gold and silver tones, the Opry Row Counter Chain adds a personal and elegant touch to your knitting process. In addition to the metallic finish, you can choose from charms such as a flower, heart, star or the letter S, making this tool a truly personal accessory. This decorative detail is not only pretty, but also helps you quickly identify the starting point of your count without relying only on colour or position.

The aesthetic personalisation is ideal both for those who like to combine functionality with creativity, and for easily identifying their tool among other accessories. This chain brings practicality by visually marking your progress, without losing the refined look that enhances your knitting sessions—whether at home, in groups, or in workshops.

How to use the Opry Row Counter Chain

Starting point: Slip your circular needle through the first ring of the chain, identified by the decorative bead. This initial ring marks the starting point for your count.

Counting rounds: Each time you complete a round, move your needles into the next ring. For example, if you begin on the first ring, at the end of the first round you place your needles in the second.

Progress tracking: The position of your needles shows which round you’re on. If you work through the whole chain several times, you can calculate the total by adding the full chain repeats plus the extra rings. For example, if you’ve gone around the chain three times and are on the second ring, that means you’ve knitted 32 rounds (30 for the three complete chains plus 2 extra).
